The area is very exceptional, an interesting historical site, very well maintained. We had a very quick visit but we enjoyed it although it was raining. There is much to see, lovely old wooden buildings, Makkarakoski rapids, you can take the tours to learn more of the area, etc. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is plenty (very good oat porridge and exquisite strawberry-rhubarb jam!), room has airconditioning and there was even a shared kitchen upstairs (we were in Sahala building). The added bonus is that you can recharge your electric car for free! This is going to be our regular place to stay when we are heading to Pori or the area in vicinity. It is only 10mins by car from Pori.

It’s a quiet,beautiful and warm place, there are enough bedrooms for two families(there are 4 adults and 4kids for us), it's a little bit far away from the main road, the environment is beautiful outside, quiet nice for taking a rest.

This property is TOO nice for a stopover. Its beautiful. Everything about it is perfect. It's like moving into someone else's house. There is nothing where money has been saved. All very top end equipment. Perfect location and silent apart from the birds. Best sleep of my trip.

Very idyllic and cozy house in Kankaanpää, close to a good grocery store, a nice walking distance from the centre with all the needed services, and it's near the hospital if you're visiting relatives. Warm and quiet, too. I definitely would definitely book again.

I liked everything. The house is near the sea, in the forest, quiet. The bed is comfortable. Good dreams. Friendly cats. The kitchen, sauna, toilets are super. But you can't get here without a car. I'm staying here for the 2nd time already, and I'll be back next time too. Kiitos Noora!
