We have always thought about staying in a Glass Igloo, so it fulfilled that wish of ours. Spread over a huge area. This property has lots of igloo. A snow hotel is built from scratch every year. Our Igloo was clean, and the beds were comfortable.It was a reclining bed👌 A private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, and bidet is an added advantage. An electric tea kettle was provided, and there were tea, coffee, and sugar sachet. They have an aurora alarm. It rang around 4 in the morning, but aurora was seen faintly for a minute, maybe due to heavy clouds. A beautiful lake was in walking distance. Two saunas: one private ( has to be booked) Another one public and was in use for guests from 9-11 p.m . Very clean and towels were provided separately. A pop-up drink bar was a good experience too were you get to drink in ice-glass'. Igloo had a fridge, too, and the Igloo was cozy enough for two people. 🙌 Reception staff was very helpful and other staff too. Thank you, Candice & Kati.🧡 Breakfast had lots of options for everyone , vegan and vegetarian options too👏 I personally thanked the cook for vegetarian fried rice 😋

The Log House is beautiful and as advertised. The host welcomed and showed us around the property. He was very responsive before and throughout our stay. I requested the sauna to be ready for our arrival and it was. The apartment was stocked with some beverages and instant meals, which we were very grateful for. It seemed to be the perfect spot to see the northern lights— either from the jacuzzi on the deck or anywhere within the property. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not in our favor that night. Overall, I think this is a wondeful getaway location not too far from the bustling city. Just note that the host lives in the house next door… yet, it’s all in a secluded area and very quiet. Know that this apartment is around 26 km from the city center and there are no amenities nearby. You can purchase some instant meals and other food items from the supermarket as there’s an electric kettle and fridge in the room. Since we didn’t have a vehicle, we relied on a taxi. The rides are not cheap in December, but I knew what to expect and don’t regret spending what I did. Honestly, two nights would have been ideal! If you have a vehicle, then it would be easier to move around. Thank you for hosting us and the gift —nailed it with my favorite chocolates. Cheers!

An amazing cottage nestled amidst the Lapish woods, offering a true gem for relaxation and witnessing the northern lights from the yard. Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic stay, though we recommend that you have a car for this cottage since it is a 40-minute' drive from Rovaniemi or other places you may wish to visit. The house itself is fully equipped and you have everything for a comfortable stay in the Arctic. The sauna, baby reindeers outside, and the surrounding views are a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

beautiful exquisite hotel, sleeping in the icehotel was a unique experience, we had a nice room. For a triple room i would especially recommend the streetview room. However, i would not repeat the experience again, as i prefer having the convenience of a private shower and bathroom.

The location is great to watch polar light. The experience of sleeping in the snow hotel is very unique in this region and each room has its own design. The staffs were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay there.

Sleeping in the Snow Hotel was certainly an experience and we are glad we did it. The sculptures, both inside and out were amazing. We cannot fault the staff who were so helpful.
