We spent an incredible week in Fiji and are already looking forward to our next visit. Denarau provided a safe and welcoming environment, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the friendly locals. Our stay at the Hilton was exceptional, surpassing all our expectations. The Bula Bus was a fantastic way to explore the area, making our holiday experience even more enjoyable.

Denarau is a good safe place to go with your family and Port...

Denarau is a good safe place to go with your family and Port Denarau has affordable shops with lots to do. Great to go from one resort to another however morally I didn't feel right spending all my money at the resorts who appear to be the only ones that profit from it. Didn't feel right that the original landowners get nothing due to their government law change and the people who maintain and work at the resort get paid peanuts. Big Bula was too expensive don't know how they justify their rates but made sure my kids got their money's worth. All in all think Denarau is a bit overrated.

Denarau is a controlled entry island with multiple resorts...

Denarau is a controlled entry island with multiple resorts and tourism options. It really is built for the tourist and is not an 'authentic Fijian' place. It is however very clean, safe, and ideal for families who need everything in close proximity. There is a fantastic Bula Bus which takes you around the different resorts and to the port which has a multitude of shopping and tourism options.

Very beautiful island however it’s very dark on the roads at...

Very beautiful island however it’s very dark on the roads at night, really needs street lights. And remark the speed humps on the road, for new comers it’s invincible. The pay parking at the centre Denarau shops. We had dinner for maybe 2hr and it only cost 4.50 and the next night we only stay for an hr or less and it cost 5.80 how does that work out like that. But a very beautiful place. I don’t have photos but please have a look at night.

Great for meals & drinks at night plus a few clothes, bakery...

Great for meals & drinks at night plus a few clothes, bakery & grocery shops. Plenty of cruises & island-hopping excursions available. Handful of hotels to choose from. The famous "Bula Bus" to ride around all hotels & into Port Denarau.

The hop on/off Bulabus took you to the Port & all the other...

The hop on/off Bulabus took you to the Port & all the other Resorts so you could sample different restaurants/cafes. The Bula Express @ Hilton took you from one end of the Resort to the other. Excellent service & the staff drivers, chefs were brilliant. Having an adult only pool/bar/restaurant area was fabulous.

The friendliness of the staff was beautiful, I have never experienced a resort before when going to Fiji, I didn’t know what to expect. It was the best ever! Buffet breakfast was amazing, rooms were great, facilities such as the pool, hammock, bars , cafe and driving us to our rooms in the cart was too good! Also having Fiji Airways office there was so convenient to get our boarding pass and take our luggage. Bula Bus to Denarau Port was pretty cool as well.

Minutes from the Denarau Island Marina Ferry terminals, shops, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. Our apartment was quiet, modern, beautifully appointed, very spacious, gorgeous bathroom and large balcony. The pool area was quite lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A feature was the Cafe/Restaurant on the ground floor adjacent to the pool. fully licensed and the food we purchased was above average in presentation and taste. A delight.

Amazing massage right on site! Tasty Tales by the pool is a must try cafe. They make the BEST food on Denerau if you are looking for authentic indo-fijian and poolside food. In suite laundry is a bonus! Staff are amazing and the hospitality is second to none. We had an amazing family vacation and the unit accomodated our multigenerational family easily!
