It’s rare to find a place where every single staff member treats you not just like a guest, but like a part of their extended family — and that’s exactly the experience we had here. The atmosphere is enchanting. Offering seven private Burres it is a perfect blend of old-world elegance and modern comfort. You can feel the charm and personality in every corner, yet everything is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. It’s a place where time slows down in the very best way, inviting you to truly relax and savor every moment whether its in your Burre, by the pool or in the dining/reception areas. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and absolutely spotless. We loved the shower looking out into the jungle....what a unique experience! Every detail has clearly been considered with care and pride. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Friendly, thoughtful, and always ready with a warm smile or helpful suggestion, they made us feel immediately at ease. It’s clear they love what they do, and that joy is infectious. Whether it was remembering a special birthday or going out of their way to recommend local hidden gems, their attention to detail and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Depika and Ledge were exceptional but not only that, every single member of staff from groundsmen to housekeeping to restaurant staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. I cannot recommend the Fiji Orchid highly enough. It is a truly unique and exceptional experience.

I enjoy getting far away from the tourist crowds when I travel to the islands, especially to see the people of the land and their way of life. Lautoka is an awesome place to get an insight of the beautiful Fijian culture, its people and community, and the real Fiji. You can count on many big smiles and ‘have a blessed day’s as you wander around the streets and parks. Life is simple here, just as it should be 💕

Lovely to see village life out of town , market , shops...

Lovely to see village life out of town , market , shops dutyfree, do activities on other islands and outside of lautoka. Great Chinese restaurant main town , Pizza at lautoka hotel, life cafes serve great cheap tasty meals .

the 2nd largest city in Fiji, quiet and unassuming during the christmas week. The town is only open to a mall and a few shops during public holidays and one is assured of a bright blue sky and sun through out the day.

Not much of a tourist vibe, nice to see the real Fijian side...

Not much of a tourist vibe, nice to see the real Fijian side of the island. People very friendly but taxis happy to charge more than they should. A couple days to relax is enough but wouldn't plan the whole holiday around this area, 3 day's of your trip is more than enough.

Landers Bay is set in a very quiet isolated location, a taxi is required to visit anywhere but well worth it. The accommodation was lovely and the beach, bar, restaurants were a minutes walk from our room. A great place to unwind and just relax. We had quite a bit of rain but being warm rain, it did not matter. We did not visit Lautoka as were happy staying at the resort.

Lautoka is thriving hustling busy town with everything you need. Great clothes shops and the markets are good also. Not much to see in Lautoka besides the markets and shops. Main attractions are near Nadi but if you want to visit the islands you can depart from Anchorage Resort..

In a quiet community, well gated 3 bedroom house and easy to track its location via Google map. All kitchen utensils and appliances were provided and in good condition. Clean compound and safe for children to play in. Beds were comfortable and having AC in all rooms helped us with to cope with the Lautoka heat.
