The best thing was the staff . Sorry I can’t remember his name, but the guy that greeted and checked us in was really helpful. The common area facilities are really good - warm and well equipped .

The location is great. The bus stop is 5 minutes, very easy to hitchhike from here. The view is just wonderful The rooms are very clean and have everything you need The common area also has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are plenty of places to store food. The kitchen has several areas where you can cook. Even with a large number of guests, you feel free Special thanks to the host Chris. He gave us a lot of tips for our trip

Gasadalur is a picturesque little village with a beautiful waterfall and great hiking options. There is a small cliff with lots of puffins when we were there. Beautiful sunsets can be wwatched there as well.

The hiking and views, which pictures and explaining just...

The hiking and views, which pictures and explaining just don't capture. I didn't find the Faroes to be a tourist trap type of location. Not a lot of shopping, not a lot of dining, just views, quiet and things that seemed a bit more expensive than elsewhere, most likely because it's an island in the middle of the Atlantic that has to have things imported. The roads and tunnels are well made, but sheep and cattle can be in the road and so I'd recommend doing the speed limit, especially on blind curves. Everyone I met was friendly and healthy. The gas station has some pretty good hot dogs.
