The property was the most insanely gorgeous hotel property I’ve ever experienced. We couldn’t believe it wasn’t part of a museum. Every detail was immaculate. Loved that it was a hotel (more like an estate,) a vineyard, a spa, somewhat of an art museum, a Michelin restaurant hub, and you could walk and explore the grounds. You don’t even have to go into town (which is a quick 15 min drive) because they have it all.

A True Gem in the Heart of Aix – A Home Away From Home We made a last-minute reservation at La Maison d’Aix, arriving late at night, and were welcomed with warmth, care, and a delightful bottle of sparkling wine with delicious treats. From the very first moment, it felt like coming home. We stayed in the Master Suite, and words can hardly do it justice. Overlooking both the charming backyard and the quiet front street, the room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The house, with just four rooms, exudes intimacy and charm—every space tells a story, elegantly decorated with impeccable taste. Breakfast was an experience in itself—prepared with love by Emma and her team. Fresh, crusty bread, creamy butter, local jam, perfectly cooked eggs... Simple, yet elevated to something truly memorable. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts we had during our two weeks in the South of France. The amenities were equally outstanding—the serene living room, the relaxing heated pool, and the hamman created a true haven. The care and passion Emma and her husband put into this place is felt in every corner. Their local recommendations made all the difference in our experience in Aix—genuine, thoughtful, and perfectly curated. We are incredibly grateful. La Maison d’Aix became the highlight of our entire trip. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience, and one we’ll return to again and again. Indulge yourself at 1785. You’ll never forget it.

Very beautiful and spacious rooms (with the elegance of first half of XX century). My room had a few nice paintings. Electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator are available. Quiet, peaceful, in an elegant region, a few seconds away from Granet museum. I don’t know how the stars classification is awarded but my room was clearly better than vrious three or even fours stars rooms that I had during time.
