It’s also an excellent base to have a rental car to venture further out across the mountains and along the coast, each with their own dramatic and wild and rugged landscapes. So far in Corsica we have been to bastia, sant florent and calvi and calvi is our favourite.out of the three. We were in Calvi outside of the holiday season and a most of the sea/beach/tourist orientated facilities were closed. It was great.
