Carnac is a very pleasant beach resort with good restaurants and the wonderful pre-historic 3000 stones of Carnac. Carnac town was quaint and worth a short walk. Plenty of choices of restaurants. Very good value for money in the town itself. The plage area was very easy to walk around. Carnac has a lovely little town centre with nice restaurants, coffee shops etc. There's another area closer to the beach with more restaurants for the beach going holiday types, fish & chips / family restaurants etc. The standing stones of Carnac are well worth a visit. You could spend a few hours walking from one set to the next. The countryside is beautiful also so you wont be disappointed. The grand plage beach is very busy, it has a nice promenade and its close to all those restaurants i mentioned. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the vast selection of historical sites and the beaches around the area. We stayed outside of the centre of town near St Colomban beach but visited to shop for souvenirs and to have a meal. Parking was easy and plentiful.Guest review byJackie

Private parking at the back of the hotel is available if booked in advance, although there is plenty of parking along the road in front of the hotel. Clean, tidy, well presented room with everything you might need. Our room had a small balcony, a perfect place to sit to watch the birds on the lake opposite while having a coffee.
