The whole thing was nothing short of beautiful, the room was lovely, immaculate and comfortable. The hotel was amazing, so tranquil and calming. The decor was amazing and extremely interesting, all done with fantastic taste, to top it off and best of all, the host was probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, a true gentleman and made us feel extremely welcome, oh and the pool was lovely, absolutely 10 out of 10 superb

Such an amazing experience to stay in La Belle Epoque! The house is very beautifully decorated, the room was great and very comfortable with very nice views. Very nice breakfast, not to talk about the amazing dinner they cooked for us! Paul and François were so warm and helpful, it made us feel like being at our home away from home. We'll come back for sure!! Merci beaucoup!

Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen

Everything. The host is very friendly, the place is roomy and excellently presented. It looks beautiful. The bed is super comfortable. And then there were little touches that made it extra special... Cold water in the fridge, figs, cake, coffee. This was perfect.
