Amazing little hotel, right in the middle of the village. The castle is within walking distance (less than 5 minutes), the lake is right in front of the hotel, there is a mini market right next to the hotel and there are several restaurants within walking distance, if you don't want to eat at the hotel's own restaurant. Great rooms, clean, with all you may need in terms of amenities. I plan on going back to Pierrefonds and staying at this hotel again!

Everything! Location excellent for a stopover or short break; staff extremely helpful, professional and friendly - we were late arriving, but they assured us we'd get a meal, we were late down to breakfast (hadn't put our watches forward!) but they accommodated us regardless; the restaurant menu was varied, imaginative and excellent; the room was large, comfortable and with a superb view of the castle and lake. It was so good we extended our stay and walked in the extensive forest (map provided in local tourist information office).

We had a wonderful night chez Tombivouac. Beautiful location, comfortable, clean. Our 5 year old was so happy to stay here; we made lovely memories, watching the stars and listening to the owls. Thomas offers a warm welcome and is always available. Great breakfast on the terrace. I highly recommend stopping here for a beautiful experience.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional. The host was incredibly helpful, extremely welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb – truly everything you could wish for, with plenty of choice and great quality. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with lovely finishing touches that made it feel extra special, such as comfortable gowns, extra towels, and thoughtful details throughout. It was a perfect balance of comfort and style, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
