The host Christine is a jewel. She is so kind and generous. The apartment itself is neat and clean (new renovation) properly equipped with everything you need. Rooms are spacious good for 4 persons. The location is in a quaint village in Lagarde and I truly appreciated that I am surrounded by nature. Calm and quiet place and if you need an escape from city life this is your place. 1,5 hours drive to Strasbourg, 1 hour drive to Nancy 1,5 hrs drive to Metz. Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium borders easily can be accessed from Lagarde.

We were welcomed by the owner, who gave us the keys and a tour of the apartment. A large, clean, carefully maintained apartment, on the first floor of an old house. All modern equipment, well provided kitchen. You can park the car just next to the door. Very practical choice if you rented a boat on the canal.

This is probably the best value hotel I have ever used! The rooms are fine, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is exceptional. All this at a very reasonable price. Then there is Patrick, truly a one-off! Formidable! Free car park, an enormous shopping centre just down the road and very easy to find. Highly recommended.

We had 3 rooms which were very comfortable. I was particularly pleased with the room which you allocated for my elderly mother with walk in shower. The restaurant meal was very good.

Clean, cozy, great communication with the host, easy to access. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. If you like driving through nice scenery, this area is great. The host is very communicative (prepare some sentences in French using translate or any other app), and flexible.

Just loved staying here. The location is rural, which means it is quiet! The facilities are clean, warm and comfortable. Loved the log fire in the sitting/dining room, which meant we could sit comfortably and discuss the day and our plans! The breakfast was typical French and more than enough with a choice of teas and coffee. Would have loved to stay longer. Note: if you do not have a vehicle, this may not be the best place for you, as you will have to rely on buses. Cycling is, of course, an option.
