I liked the setting, gorgeous environment, very calm. I enjoyed the courtyard and having dinner there was delightful. I also really appreciated the hospitality of the owners, who were knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about their place and region.

A perfect hideaway which we cant wait to return to for a longer stay. Superb room with everything you could want. Beautiful grounds and a quite exceptional property which has been sympathetically renovated. Cyril and his wife were very welcoming and could not be more obliging. The Table d'hotes was fantastic and very reasonably priced with excellent wine choices. Also great local beers. Very relaxing.

The location is superb with incredible countryside views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Linda the receptionist who gave us some excellent suggestions for places to visit on our onward journey.

Ver nice & helpful personal. We booked our room (family with two kids) just two hours before arriving and the room was ready & the restaurant at the hotel is very nice, thd breakfast was also good, z big plus is having a parking at the hotel snd Joyeuse is z very nice little town.

A rather dreary, old-fashioned town, with many closed and...

A rather dreary, old-fashioned town, with many closed and dilapidated shops, much like the surrounding villages. There's not much to do besides hiking (on foot, by bike, or on horseback). The Ardèche River and its canoes are there for those who enjoy it. Otherwise, it's utterly boring.

Nothing disappointed me, a very beautiful place, the little river is lovely, the staff and management are very friendly, it's very peaceful, the restaurant is impeccable, I really have nothing to complain about, perhaps a small fridge in the rooms would be a nice addition. We will certainly return, a great place to stay.

We found Largentière peaceful, although the COVID situation is understandable. We spoke with the owners, and it seems this small town is quiet compared to the atmosphere of some medium-sized and large cities... You definitely feel like you're somewhere else. Largentière has a fairly large supermarket nearby.

The hotel is build in an old silk factory. Location is quiet (apart from the water of the little stream next to the hotel - hence the name) Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is great and either inside or outside. Friendly and helpfull staff. We had dinner one night and we really enjoyed the food which we found to be great value for money. Excellent starting point for cycling trips as the old reailway line to Largentière (which is now a bike path) passes close to the hotel.

Farid and Melina made us very welcome, and looked after our every need. Their lovely old rambling home overlooks the river, as does the terrace where a relaxed breakfast is served. The house is situated in the centre of the small town of Largentiere; convenient, and yet quiet. The town has a number of good bars and restaurants, and is a good place to unwind and wander through the very old streets and alleys.

A very nice place to stay with an excellent location, where everything is very close and the possibility of parking is almost next door. Very well equipped rooms that are cozy and have lots of space. The best opportunity to stay in a typical old town house in Largentiere, which is nicely furnished. I had a really great stay and I highly recommend this place!
