Our host was fantastic! Breakfast superb. Yoghurt, freshly prepared fruit, pastries, flan all brought into our room at our choice of time. Delicious home-made jams by Jean Louis' 90 year old Mum. The radiators worked well and made the room nice and cosy. The bathroom was only finished being fitted the night before we arrived.

We booked as a “cheap” one night stay over. This was beyond our expeditions, photos didn’t do it justice!! Gutted we only had for one night, came with everything you could wish for, children included!! I really am hoping to book again! So much space!

Alison and Pierre were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. Offered to light the Woodburner ready for when we came back each day. Fixed a minor issue swiftly. All the furniture is really comfortable, kitchen has everything you need.

This was our second stay and we will continue to book whenever we are driving back to Calais. The house is great with a beautiful garden. The rooms are excellent with really comfortable beds. Claire is a wonderful host and an excellent cook. We enjoyed an exceptional dinner with local produce. The breakfast was excellent too. Nothing was too much trouble and we would thoroughly recommend it.

The sat nav took us in the wrong direction we had a...

The sat nav took us in the wrong direction we had a difficult time getting back onto the road. The house was set back and not so noticeable, no number to be seen. It needs signs around the village pointing people in the right directions. We were harassed when we got there the guy didn’t speak English . His daughter arrived who did speak English . She offered a cup of tea which was very welcome. The owners were welcoming. You need longer than 1 hour and 5 minutes to get back to Calais. Beautiful villages made up for the problems,
