This place was really an exceptional find. The host Bertrand has transformed a previously abandoned group of 17th century buildings by the side of the river Seine into the most beautifully landscaped and tranquil haven. There are a number of gorgeous thatched cottages which are beautifully furnished with sitting areas outside where you can enjoy the wonderful garden which goes right down to the water's edge. Breakfast was a real treat. There was a lovely selection of bread and croissants wirh homemade jams, eggs however you like them and homemade yoghurt and raspberries. Bertrand is a wonderfull host who anticipated our needs as cyclists and even sent us off with a couple of extra boiled eggs for our journey. He can also provide supper for guests on Sundays and Tuesdays. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Would definitely return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment in Pont-Audemer! The value for money was outstanding – only €85 for two nights – and we couldn’t have asked for more. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the charming old town, with a large supermarket just a five-minute walk away and plenty of small restaurants nearby. We even found the best pizza we have ever eaten at Pizzeria Castello, which we can recommend without hesitation! The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details. The bathroom and shower were modern and felt brand new, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. When we arrived, the table was already set for us, which was such a warm and welcoming touch. Parking was also easy – free street parking right outside, and there was always a spot available. The check-in process was simple and stress-free, and the hosts were fantastic: very responsive, kind, and attentive. They even prepared a folder full of recommendations for things to do in the area, which we found very helpful. We also loved how quiet and peaceful it was at night, making it easy to relax after exploring. From the windows, the view was lovely – no dull backyard, but a charming outlook that added to the cozy atmosphere. Staying here was also the perfect way to experience the authentic charm of Pont-Audemer, often called the "Venice of Normandy." The little canals, historic houses, and warm atmosphere of the town made the experience unforgettable. Overall, this apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pont-Audemer!
