I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on the highway. When I arrived at the hotel I had booked overnight it was raining and the pizza prepared by the hotel was cold. I brought a bike with me, and despite the hilly terrain, I found it manageable and not a bad way to view both the town and the Viaduct. The Viaduct Visitor Centre can be accessed from the ordinary road network (by car or bicycle) and has and excellent high level viewing platform as well as a cafe and toilets etc. There are also special walking and cycling paths which take you under the Viaduct and through one of the concrete pillars. Central Millau is interesting in its own right with a lot old historic buildings alongside the river Tarn.Guest review byAndrew - 10.0

We finally visited Millau to see the Viaduct (Bridge). The property itself is exquisite and the owners delightful. You should be aware access is via a narrow ,winding hillside road affording wonderfull views of Millau, the bridge the countryside. At night ,think Mulholland Drive ,LA. Breakfast was simple but plentiful with great bread and croissants and a pot of coffee. The staff were friendly. Good location in the centre of town, the room was comfortable and clean although the water pressure from the shower was a little wanting, but adequate. The breakfast was a very good, buffet style with lots of choice. The hotel car park is secure and less than a one minute walk from the hotel reception.
