his was a great room in the hotel. Even though it is on a busy road they worked magic with the insulation because we heard absolutly nothing in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel bar was a welcome surprise. We ate at the restaurant and WOW, you have to have their casserole specialty. It is one massive and absolutly delicious feed (hint - don't have an entree if you want to be able to finish the casserole ). Out the back the have secure bike storage and a car park.

A Hidden Gem in Rural France – With the Friendliest Host! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chez Phil in Pomerade. From the moment we arrived (a bit late due to a delayed flight), Phil went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—even making a special trip to the supermarket for us so we’d have everything we needed on arrival. That level of thoughtfulness really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The accommodation itself was fantastic. Our room was massive—much larger than we expected—and beautifully appointed. The en-suite bathroom was spotless and modern, and the shower was honestly the biggest I’ve ever seen. It felt more like a spa than a guesthouse! One of the real highlights was the swimming pool. Set in a peaceful rural location, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The whole property has a calm, tranquil feel, ideal for anyone wanting to unwind and get away from it all. But what really makes Chez Phil special is Phil himself. Friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, he’s the kind of host who genuinely cares about your stay and makes you feel like more than just a guest. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back
