Our hosts at L'Ancienne Auberge were wonderfully friendly and professional. We had booked in for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and as we were a bit early, and this was very much off season, we asked the chef what he was giving us. Not only did he explain at length, but invited us into the kitchen and showed us the preparations being made. It was all delicious, and belied my maxim of "never trust a thin chef"!! The room was excellent and breakfast was fine

We had the pleasure of spending a day at Chambres de Charme Mamie Angèle in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, and what an experience it was! The room was clean, authentic, and ideally located—just 4 minutes from the center and close to canoeing. The breakfast was fantastic and uniquely extensive. Both the host and hostess were exceptionally friendly and personal. We look forward to returning!

Arrived after a long drive to a kind welcome from Astrid. The accomadation was warm & welcoming we used the kitchen families to eat as stopped off on route to buy food just in case the village restaurants were closed. Our bedroom was spacious and warm just what we needed. Thank you Astrid for your hospitality and making us feel like we were home from home.

The building is lovely. It is an ancient house of the village that has been fully renovated and decorated in a very nice way. The bedrooms are gorgeous and very spacious with full bathroom. The hosts are extremely nice, helpful and attentive to the needs of their guests. The breakfast is excellent and very copious. This place is a true gem.
