Breakfast was excellent, made to order everyday, the room was lovely, great shower, nice space and so close to the beach. The host was lovely and made sure everything was ready for us. Great location to visit all the D day beaches and Bayeaux to see the tapestry

- The owners (Sylvie & Damien) are very friendly and are always happy to help (planning activities, flexible in breakfast/diner timing, restaurant suggestions, etc.). - Everything is very clean. - Breakfast consisted of high-quality products with focus on local produce - it was also very extensive (while minimizing waste and leftovers which is - we can imagine - a difficult balance to maintain). - The hotel and domain are meticulously maintained with eye for every detail (cleanliness, home automation, comfort, atmosphere,...) In summary: very clean hotel, homely feeling with top-class service!

Fantastic hotel right on the beach, check is was easy and check out easier (we had an early ferry to catch) the restaurant though was amazing! some of the nicest food we had in our week in France, for the price this place is a steal, would definitely recommend to anyone!

The beautiful weather made the place all the more enjoyable.

The beautiful weather made the place all the more enjoyable. We dined either at the Hôtel Le Clos Normand or at Le Crabe Vert, along the seawall, without needing a car, which was a real plus. The only slight drawback was that if we wanted to try a different restaurant, several nearby were closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, or both.

I took many walks through the flower-filled streets and alleyways of Saint-Aubin, and I particularly appreciated the unique architecture (late 19th/early 20th century) of this small town. From beach to beach, you can visit several villages, but Saint-Aubin is by far the most appealing to me.

A pleasant and well-maintained little town with good...

A pleasant and well-maintained little town with good infrastructure. A good base for exploring the region. Various events take place during the season. The beach is spacious, with a nice promenade. The water is clean. Unfortunately, the beach was covered in seaweed, and the cleanup efforts were only partially successful.

Saint-Aubin and the other towns are built on history, but...

Saint-Aubin and the other towns are built on history, but personally I prefer southern Brittany. I came here to see the D-Day beaches and the museums, which are very nice, but I wouldn't spend my holidays here. Also, be aware that there are speed bumps every 30 to 50 meters on the coastal roads; it's appalling. I recommend this accommodation for its value for money.

A lovely, quiet village with a few shops and very nice...

A lovely, quiet village with a few shops and very nice restaurants right on the beach promenade, and everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed the food at the Hotel Le Clos Normand the most, especially the mussels.

The room is incredibly clean. Everything is of excellent quality. The breakfast is lovely. Sylvie cooks and bakes every day to give you something new to try, always with a connection to local produce, or Normandy style. It was like staying with friends rather than a hotel. Very friendly and so helpful. Both Sylvie and Jean-Michel were keen to offer ideas on places to visit or restaurants to go to. We highly recommend.
