We loved it here, we booked this after a last minute flight cancellation and were pleasantly surprised by everything they had to offer at the property. The bar was self service, food was served buffet style and it was delicious and the property offered everything you could ask for, beautiful outdoor seating, nordic baths, cinema, game room, library. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the place. .

Room was a good size, the bed was extremely comfy and the bathroom was also clean and a good size. Very quiet and peaceful just a 2 minute walk into the centre of Saint Germain en Laye. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly.

The house is beautiful and is located close to the centre of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The room was private and quiet. For those who have stayed many times in Paris, this location just outside the city is a great alternative. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. A bus service runs from the old palace to the stop in front of Versailles. It takes about 30 minutes and beats going on two trains or buses via Paris. Local bistros and restaurant are good at various price points. In summary, highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough to relax. The host was incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with, responding quickly to any questions and making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The apartment was well-equipped with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

The apartment is a very good size for one or two travellers, with a comfortable sofa bed. The sofa bed takes a little bit of strength to pull out, but is a decent size, with plenty of space for two people. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, including an oven, a microwave and hob. It is situated just a short walk from the centre of Saint-Germain-en-Laye along a quiet street. There was a small amount of noise from neighbours during daylight hours, but nothing disturbing and it was quiet and peaceful at night. Whilst on the map it looks to be a significant distance from the city centre, it's an easy walk to the RER station to take you into the centre of Paris. Taking the RER A line gets you to the centre in about 30-35 minutes or so, and is very regular. The distance from the centre works in the favour of the apartment as it's much more relaxed and calm. There are an abundance of quality restaurants, bars and boulangeries nearby, along with tourist destinations to explore in Saint-Germain-en-Laye itself. Ana, the host, is communicative and friendly, and she made check-in and check-out a very easy experience. An excellent apartment and very good value for money.

It's a very smart upmarket town with delightful shops.

It's a very smart upmarket town with delightful shops. The Friday Market in central square was just wonderful. The Chateau and surrounding parkland are beautiful with spectacular views of the River Seine and Paris. Wonderful transport connections (train or bus) to Versailles or into central Paris - we stayed here but it would also make a great day out.

I was already familiar with St Germain en Laye, but from...

I was already familiar with St Germain en Laye, but from years ago. It’s a lovely place to stay, and now the RER makes travel more convenient. There are also handy local buses. The shops, market and cafes are all excellent, food not overpriced. The chateau, its gardens and terrace are impressive, with views towards Paris.

All was well except for whatever had to do with service and dinner + breakfast. Breakfast was a disaster. No more food, no personnel to ask to, everyone complaining but close to no reaction. Dinner : main course was cold and we waited for so much time before we could it. I would not recommend this place. Personnel is lacking and is not acting as they should.

We love St Germain-en-Laye with its history, chateau, market...

We love St Germain-en-Laye with its history, chateau, market place, good shops and restaurants.The beautiful park with its views across to Paris and its flowery gardens which are beautiful in the Spring through Autumn. It is easy to stroll around and admire the buildings. The Musee Maurice Denis, in a former priory, is a short walk from the town centre and well worth a visit. We had dinner at Chez Lulu in Rue St Pierre and enjoyed a really good meal in a very pleasant ambiance. The service was attentive. Coffee is very expensive in the town! We hope to return.

Saint-Germaint-en-Laye is great town to visit for a day or two. As well as the upmarket feel of numerous clothes shops, high quality patisseries and chocolatiers, the highlight is the Le Notre Terrace next to the chateau, with magnificent views of Paris in the distance. Worth going on a market day in the centre. The RER station is next to the Chateau and a 4 minute walk to the Centre.

It is a beautiful little town with a grand chateau featuring a semi-formal garden for a stroll and distant views of the Paris skyline. Delightful shops. Fast trains to Paris and a wonderful market on Friday mornings (and Tuesdays too I think?).

Located in the very center of the town. From there you can do everything by walk (also if you go to Paris downtown by metro). Easy access to Paris but also bars and restaurants in Saint Germain en Laye. Bakery & shops just around the corner Nice, small appartment for 4 people max. Comfortable & large sofa-bed and a laundry machine. Covered parking nearby (not even 50 m walk, 24h parking =approx 25 eur, possibility to get a long term pak ticket.

This is the most beautiful hotel set in a stunning location! The town is just amazing too… so cute and old… where people still queue up in the bakery, the butchery, the cheese store. No big chain stores! Loved the village vibe.
