The property was beautiful and they have renovated it to a high standard. The view from the pool area was lovely over the countryside with lovely sunsets. The room is part of the family house but with its own entrance. It’s a spacious room, comfy bed and large double shower. We really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They cooked dinner for us one evening and everything was fresh and homemade from their produce or local. Valerie also catered for my no meat/dairy dietary requirements easily for dinner and breakfast. we really enjoyed the evening meal with the sunset. Valerie also took us to feed her chickens and stroke the friendly ones! We had the eggs for breakfast.

This was the best accommodation of our entire trip. we stayed in the Collette room and had a beautiful view of the pool & courtyard. The room was so comfortable, beautifully decorated and the facilities were exceptional. The service was next level. Every single staff member we met was so very helpful & kind. And the breakfast….stunning! Organically sourced, freshly squeezed. Don’t look any further than this hotel when visiting Sarlat! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay unforgetable 💕

The location was excellent. The hotel is across the street from the main bus stop in town, and as we were travelling entirely by public transit, it could not have been more ideally situated. The staff were extremely friendly with us from the moment we entered, almost 5 hours before check-in, and they agreed to watch our bags. They always enquired about our outings and made conversation. The breakfasts were also excellent. The best we encountered in France. The breakfast buffet has yogurt, a range of local cheeses, 1-3 types of sweet cake, viennoisseries, a station at which an employee cooks eggs to your liking, an espresso machine, and a juice dispenser.
