The hotel manager and his wife are very friendly and do everything to make you feel at home. We had the best time to de-stress. The half board option is great. The breakfast and food is very nice. Wine is included in the half board. Very good value for money! The location up in the valley is very good. We were there for the hiking. Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful hiking trails and views on views on views! On a clear day you see Mont Blanc. The adventure card from the tourist information for a week is very good, the cable cars/lifts , some activities and the swimming pools are included. The lifts are good to take you up the mountains for hiking.

Our stay at Hotel du Bourg in Valmorel over Christmas and New Year’s was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a lasting impression. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the ski lifts and close to the charming town of Valmorel. After a day on the slopes, the cozy pub was the perfect place to unwind, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Hotel du Bourg offers excellent service, a great location, and a warm atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable skiing holiday in Valmorel.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating to us. The view from the apartment was beyond my expectations. It was close enough to restaurants and ski lifts, while still offering a seclusion where the kids could enjoy the outdoors in a little more solitude. We will definitely be returning.

Its a nice apartment in nice location but is a bit too small. We travel 4 different hotels/apts in our week trip and this was the smallest. Access was easy with the lift and we got a car park space. Close to the centre of the resort.

Valmorel is a pretty resort with great places to eat and drink. Great selection of shops and the skiing for the end of March up high was great. For beginners this time of year I wouldn’t recommend as the snow was awful from 1650 down. Top of Biolene was nice & top of Madeline. Tip of the morel wasn’t great for some reason by lunchtime Friday it was slushy and thick at 2200m high. I would say during winter (only open 4 months ) the skiing would be superb .

Valmorel was a very lovely area to be in.

Valmorel was a very lovely area to be in. The village area was lovely to go out in at night and there was a good number of restaurants to choose from. Although you had to book to be able to get a table for when you wanted it. It was good that staying in the local hotel, you also got a discount from certain restaurants. The Mexican Restaurant was particularly good.

I think it's an excellent winter ski resort.

I think it's an excellent winter ski resort. We went there in the summer after mid-August and enjoyed the slopes and various trails, including the two cable cars, which are very well priced. It's a shame there weren't any restaurants open at the top. A very positive experience.

This ski resort is expanding its summer activities. An adventure pass for 59 euros allows access to a variety of activities. Be aware that some hiking trails are dangerous, as they cross directly through a construction site on the upper slopes of the resort.

Beautiful village, the center is very charming, you absolutely must have lunch at Le Petit Prince at the foot of Planchamp. Just be aware that you have to pay to use the cable car 🤔, which is very useful for getting from one end of the resort to the other. For skiing, it's a good family resort with a lovely ski area. Not too difficult, but with some nice slopes, partly through the forest. We'll be back.

A human-scale residential village nestled on a significant...

A human-scale residential village nestled on a significant mountainside, with no apartment buildings, only chalet-style residences. A pedestrianized shopping street offers everything you need. The ski area is very large but best suited to experienced skiers and not ideal for those with walking difficulties. There are no benches in the village or at the ski lifts. The village is very clean and safe.

The hotel is easy to find and has ample free parking (but make sure you follow the signs - we missed one and thought we could get to the hotel from the back. You can but it will probably be the steepest road you will ever drive up). We were greeted very warmly by Dana (hope that’s the correct spelling) who speaks excellent English. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price.

Very quaint property. All a bit dated but that gives it lots of character. The staff keep the place spotlessly clean. Conveniently located in the Main Street with a short walk to the lifts. The hotel bar is arguably the best in Valmorel and the guys there do a tremendous job and make you want to drink there ahead of anywhere else. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome.

We arrived very late in the night, so the people from Maeva were very helpful and gave the keys to a friend of us that was there already. The communication was good and quite easy. The apartment was also in a nice spot with a beautiful view and next to the lift/piste so you could actually put your skis on and ski directly. Close to the Valmorel city center as well for food and drinks.

The Host was extremely occurring, nice and well prepared for our stay. The Apartment was really clean upon arrival and its extremely close to the Ski Resort Valmorel. It was a lot of Fun and the Price to Service Ratio is incredible.
