We would rate our experience at this property as 11 out of 10, if this score existed! We were not here for holidays, but to visit the dealership, close by, from where we had purchased our camper van. Thierry, the owner; was so helpful to us, in allowing us to store our bikes and the contents of our camper (we had been on the road for 6 weeks, across France, Andorra; Spain and England) in his garage; whilst the vehicle was being worked on. We felt really 'chilled' in the accommodation. We enjoyed walking and cycling <especially> from our 'front door' along the Cher river, to and from the chateau of Chenonceaux. We hope to return. Thank you, so much to Béatrice and Thierry for making us feel so welcome and comfortable, and for facilitating our needs with storage.

Beautiful castle nested in a cute village next to la Loire. There’s a lot to do and discover. The staff was incredible. Fantastic breakfast and service. We got some amazing recommendations by the team from the best wine in the region to great restaurants. truly one of our best trip with my other half. Thanks again to the staff!!

Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, the environment was comfortable and intimate, the decor was beautiful, and it was amazing to soak in the jacuzzi while it was raining. This stay was an unforgettable experience for me. The hotel's dinner was also very delicious, the chef was handsome, and the ingredients were very fresh, sourced from the forest, private garden, and local suppliers. Surrounded by the forest at night and awakened by nature in the morning, it felt like we rediscovered our inner peace! We will definitely come back if we have the chance in the future!

Excellent location in the centre of town with lots of shops and restaurants within a minute or two. The owner is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a pretty courtyard where you can have a nice continental breakfast. Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Recommended!

Hotel with character. And stairs. A lot of them. Wonderful top-floor room. It had everything I needed. Even more. Hearty breakfast with huge, fresh, crunchy croissants (staple of French cuisine). Sadly, I had no time to taste them; had a train to catch. Started to rain outside so the hotel employee offered to drive me to the train station. So stunned by his generosity that I forgot to tip him (I doubt that he would accept, though). Merci, monsieur! Kudos to you.
