Everything!! The hotel is beautiful!! Such a charming boutique hotel. Situated in a central, quite, location but a ‘stones’ throw away to the hub of activity. The hotel has been tastefully restored retaining the old charm. Clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are delightful the bed extremely comfortable and all the mod cons of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful, cosy seating areas to relax downstairs, a bar and a lovely outdoor terrace with plunge pool. My partner and I were cycle touring around France and were booked to stay here one night. We were greeted warmly and positively by Julien the owner on our arrival. Once panniers and luggage removed from the bikes he kindly helped us with taking them to the garage at the side of the property for safe storage. One of us is vegetarian and he recommended a wonderful restaurant opposite the castle which we could admire whilst dining outside and it was a perfect evening with delicious food. Breakfast was served in a delightful dining area with a delicious array of choices again no stone left unturned. On setting off on the bikes about 15 kms into the ride I had a mechanical problem where I lost my gears and the bike couldn’t be ridden. We were in a rural area. I telephoned the hotel where I spoke with Anne Juliens wife to ask if she could contact a taxi for me in French to get me back to a bike shop in town. I couldn’t believe it. She insisted Julien come and collect me in his van and take me to a bike shop in Nérac. Julien was there in no time and took me to a shop back in town where he interpreted. And the mechanics attended to my bike right away. He insisted on waiting until he knew they could fix it and that I would be back in the road refusing to take any money for his time and petrol. This act of kindness was so appreciated. I can’t thank him enough.

Super clean, professionell and easy going. I was traveling with my 10 yo son, we were super tired after a long drive and were greeted with warmth and comfort. Felt safe and in good hands, as we Reiki people say (and recognize each other).
