It was very nice stay in NC500 Pod in Achmelvich. We immediately felt very comfortable. It's super cozy inside and the kitchen is very well equipped. We could see deer from the window and the nearby beach is also great for a walk. Highly recommended.

Professional and friendly staff, optimal organization of room and shower, beautiful dining/relax room. Very good view and atmosphere. I really liked the shelf idea: you can put something on the shelf and put a label on it if it's yours or you can leave something for others just for free. And everyone was extremely kind, even the guests. I don't usually leave feedback but this one really deserved it.

The breakfast was fabulous, home made granola, home made bread with lots of high quality spreads and local honey. Freshly sliced melon and orange. A huge range of beverages and yoghurts. Particularly grateful for the boiled eggs provided and home made cake, to have with a cuppa on arrival. Jo dealt efficiently with the unexpected power cut we had for half an hour on arrival, boiled water on her stove so we could have tea, and had candles and a torch for us. The bedroom was very roomy, with a huge bed, comfy sofa, and TV. The decor was full of rustic cosy charm, beautifully carved wood everywhere, and lovely bed linen. It was very relaxing. We also loved the huge bookcase full of really interesting books. Jo and Trevor were very welcoming and helpful.

A wonderful property in a stunning location. Modern amenities inside but the character has been kept. Even visiting while it was raining, the garden and decking was lovely, plus the clever idea for a table on the decking. We only stayed one night but easily could have stayed more. It's a really clean, thought out property which you can see the owner has taken pride in doing. The welcome guide sent virtually days before was really helpful too. Highly recommend.

It was very secluded with a beautiful view of the ocean, but still near the town of Lochinver. It was clean and very cozy! Fully equiped kitchen and even some TV streaming services available. We will definitely come back!

The view was absolutely amazing! The highlandcows greeted us during breakfast. We enjoyed a rainy afternoon drinking the complementary whisky and just enjoying the amazing view from our room. The breakfast was also very lovely. The road to the B&B was also one of our highlights, because of all the sheeps on the road. Would really recommend it!

The beach is amazing, does not disappoint in any way.

The beach is amazing, does not disappoint in any way. Last 1.5 miles to the beach is single track road and there is not much around but that’s what we liked and just short 20 min drive from lochinvar for shops and restaurants etc.

It's an isolated beach with scenic views and away from the...

It's an isolated beach with scenic views and away from the world feel. The staff here are genuine and friendly and if they do not know they will find out for you. We went out of season and there was enough to do. In season alot more stuff is open. Definitely recommend a visit. Also part of NC500

The location was amazing, the views were incredible and the...

The location was amazing, the views were incredible and the whole break at Achmelvich was amazing. We made the mistake of not bringing snacks, juice etc, but the little shop on the caravan site had lots for us. We also used the chip shop on site, which was beautiful fish!

Well worth the drive down a single track road .

Well worth the drive down a single track road . Beautiful beach, white sand aqua sea.. and that was on a day of louring clouds, high winds and subsequent rain. The hostel was charming, with the benefit of a log fire and comfy sofa and chairs. A warm welcome from the lovely young woman who checked me in and was happy to chat. No internet....which I did not find in the least bothersome. I sat and read gazed into the log fire and got my thoughts in order.

Beautiful beaches in a quiet area made busier by the North...

Beautiful beaches in a quiet area made busier by the North Coast 500. 3 caravan sites adjoin each other but are well set out and are not visible from the beaches. Great grassy areas for kids to play. Crystal clear sea. No cafes or lifeguards or tinned entertainment which was a bonus for us. Good places to eat in Lochinver about 15 minutes drive away. The road is single-track with passing places, so be careful as the many camper-van drivers often don't know how to reverse or use wing mirrors to allow faster traffic to overtake!
