Found this little gem at the end of the Dava Way. Cris and Nick are the most kind and friendly hosts. The rooms are lovely and the bed is very comfortable. An English breakfast is cooked upon request and a continental breakfast bar is available too. We had a room with a separate bathroom, which was just a few steps down the hall and very spacious.

Home to home setting with much more comfortable bed! 😉 We loved the breakfast! Bit of an everything.. The location is perfect, the beach is just down the road, one of the evening just popped down to watch the sunset. The host Jen and Simon were fantastic! Very friendly. The place is clean, the bathroom was huge with fantastic decoration. When I booked The Clubhouse for some reason I thought there were a double and 2 single beds in the suit, but when we got there there was 2 double beds.. We are a family of 4, and our 2 kids got used to sleep in separate beds.. When I asked for an extra matress my hosts were amazing and they gave us an extra matress for no extra charge!! That way all nights were great. 2 of my children have been asking me when are we going to return… I am sure we will.

Overlooking the Moray Firth, with pretty gardens leading down to the seashore, this hotel and leisure club are set within beautiful surroundings.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and treated to the best friendly service I've ever experienced. Our room ,along with the decor and fittings, were clean, spacious, and well equipped.. All staff were attentive to our needs and were just lovely. Our evening meal was delicious and the portion size was great. I'd definitely endorse The 1645 Inn to any traveller.

At the check-in it started with a warm welcome and at the check-out it felt like leaving good friends.... In the meantime we had a perfect holiday in a beautiful, quiet room with a nice garden view, excellent breakfast, delicious dinner and relaxing evenings in a familiar atmosphere in the bar. Such a wonderful hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The check-in process was very simple but be aware that you will need to carry your bags upstairs. We parked around the back with no problems. Old fashioned and really homely rooms.
