The location and Hotel is lovely and relaxing, breakfast excellent, staff lovely. Only problem I find is the noise of the traffic constantly going by outside when you have a room to the front of hotel. Armagh is a great place to stay. We visit relatives close by and enjoy the scenery, history, and modern areas offered. Transportation is available to most anywhere. We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6.
We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome. We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it. We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness. I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.Guest review byClarkeIreland - 10.0

The rooms were gorgeous, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was sublime as well, with a range of fresh fruit, bread and then a hot food option freshly made for each person, by Doris. The location was perfect for our needs for work, but regardless the house is nestled in farmland - it's so quiet which was great! I made good use of the kettle, fridge and tv. I had no trouble sleeping on the bed which was comfortable but firm enough. The shower was also great very easy to operate and control. The owners ware very pleasent people and eager to please. It is located on a hill overlooking Armagh and the surrounding countryside.
