The location is right on the beach. The beach is superb. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The accomodation was first class. We loved being able to choose whether to self cater in the well stocked kitchenette or eat in the pub. The pub food was good. The sea bream was excellent and probably the best on the menu. The bonus of this place is that it is very dog friendly.

The views are amazing. We were lucky enough to stay on a sunny, clear day, so we experienced an incredible sunset and sunrise, as well as a dark sky for star gazing. The way the bungalows are spaces out makes it feel private, and there is plenty of space. Alex was super friendly and helpful over messages, and the bungalow was equipped with everything we could have needed. It is unique and comfortable. Plenty of space for us and our dog.

We were met by the owners who showed us the property What a gem! It exceeded our expectations and was great value for money. The location was great. A good base to explore the coast and the broads. The bed was so comfy - a giant king size or poss queen bed. It was warm throughout and didn't need heaters on much (December). The facilities were excellent with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. We will definitely return.

Hugh was amazing, he made you feel instantly welcome, even coming out to the car when we arrived to help unload luggage and bring it inside. We had dinner there and were once again treated exceptionally. Breakfast was also scrumptious with extensive selections. My 17-year-old son can not stop talking about the amazing experience he had at this hotel and he has traveled extensively in his short life. I also cannot say enough about this place.

Most places of interest are within walking distance (1-2 miles at most) Cromer, Wroxham & Norwich are a short drive away for days out.

What we saw of Bacton, was lovely it has a coffee shop and there is a couple of convenience stores to choose from. It is a lovely clean area and is only a half hour drive to Cromer and 35 minutes to Sheringham which we stopped off at and it was beautiful there. We ate at the accommodation which was the Poachers Pocket, and the food was fabulous and good value for money.

I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a lot younger and we always return to the area at least once or twice a year. The whole coast is absolutely superb but fast disappearing due to coastal erosion but we have some wonderful memories of past holidays along the coast from Sheringham down to Gt.Yarmouth.

We really enjoy going to Bacton. Beautiful beach and quiet. You can walk to Walcott by beach or walking by road. Close to Happisburgh and Sea Palling. Not too far from Sherringham and Cromer. Not too far from the B-roads

Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet.

Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet. Don't be put off by the gas works, we couldn't actually see them from our accommodation. It's easy to get to Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The local ice cream is delicious especially lemon curd😊

Very pleasant place right on the coast.

Very pleasant place right on the coast. Not over commercialised, a nice scattering of interesting shops. Well situated for food and drinks, (Large Pub next door). It was located right among several other resorts on the Norfolk Coast, which were easily accessible.

Everything you could want or need from this sort of accommodation, and hosts delightful to deal with. Whole experience was very easy with no stress. Location is great, very peaceful and only a couple of minutes to the amazing beach at Bacton. We stayed with 2 small dogs and thoroughly enjoyed it :) will be back!

We came here to" get away from it all" and that's what we did. Lovely beach was virtually private, great place to centre yourselves for Cromer, Sheringham, Yarmouth etc. You can have whatever you want for breakfast from an extensive menu, they even do a Sunday carvery.
