Area had plenty to do - we ran out of time.

Area had plenty to do - we ran out of time. Lovely walks/hikes up the mountains and along the valley. Velocity Zip wire just down the road. Town of Bethesda had a small Tesco and a Londis for buying food and a Chippy, Indian takeaway and a fantastic Pizza place that freshly cooked your pizza while you waiting and you could eat outside or take away. Bangor only 15 minutes drive away, as were Aber Falls (but go at your own risk as very busy and got stuck in the car park as no car park attendants managing the excessive amount of traffic here) - we gave up eventually.

the town itself was ok, the area was a good location to travel around and see the waterfalls and landscapes, parking is a bit difficult but worked out ok in the end, better with a small car, the house was homely and welcoming with everything you would need just like home

Beautiful, peaceful and homely cottage.

Beautiful, peaceful and homely cottage. We all really enjoyed the cottage (family of four 2 sons 15 and 18 yrs old). Great location, short drive to Snowdon. Had everything we needed for our stay. Great information, short beautiful walk to the high street - really enjoyed the food recommendations for Indian takeaway. We didn't actual visit the Zip wire, only because our time was quite limited and we were really enjoying the walking.

Locals friendly but with a strong Welsh pride. Take cash !!!

Locals friendly but with a strong Welsh pride. Take cash !!! The village pubs and limited eateries only take cash, it was like going back in time. Town is ran down but it has bags of potential with zipworld and Snowdonia on the doorstep.

A lovely apartment to stay in! Free parking, and Netflix was a bonus! There are all the amenities in the area i needed too. There is a "well known" shop a few minutes walk (open 6am until 11pm) for your groceries including the food to put in the fridge / freezer. Bethesda has stunning views around it and Llanberis is a short drive away. The Slate museum there is worth a visit. I also met Ben who owns the apartments and was extremely helpful and friendly. A great place!

Absolutely stunning property , with high spec finish . Felt like our own boutique hotel , we even had our own patio space. the host Ben was exceptional with communication and suggesting ideas for our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this is anyone doing the Velocity experience 5 mins away . Such a great weekend .

Whilst Bethesda is quiet and a bit dull, the location of the apartment was excellent for touring around the North Wales / Anglesey area. The apartment was very well appointed , warm and comfortable. It has been tastefully and sympathetically upgraded and is a credit to its’ owners.

Beautiful location with a hot tub overlooking the falls. The pictures match very well for what you can expect. Very easy to check in, met staff at the hotel restaurant as we were later checking in. All ran smoothly and they were very friendly.

On the steps of the Eryri, the location is perfect. A stones throw away from both the mountains and the beach, what's not to love. Additionally, Bethesda itself is fantastic, very friendly and supportive locals. We shall definitely be returning.
