Bolton is a town on the edge of the M61/M62, making it a great place as an affordable base for Greater Manchester or onward travel. I was there for my Son's Wedding, which was at Bolton School. This place was a beautiful setting for a wedding and the Staff were so helpful and charming. It was also the weekend for the Bolton Good Fest. This is a not to be missed experience. Bolton has some fantastic green areas around the town just outside the centre. lots of beautiful walks and country parks. definitely did not expect the wider beauty of the back roads and hills at the foot of Bolton.
