Great breakfast menu (I loved the fresh omelette), Kara is very helpful in every way, whether bus timetables or recommendations for dinner and also always good for a laugh. The bed is confi, it’s a good location near the heart of the little city and my favorite live-music pub „the Barrel“, a short walk to the beach and the coastal path, good car parking spaces nearby at the supermarket Co-Op (I payed only 6 pounds for 3 nights via the App „just park“) There are two breakfast options: at 8am and 9am. Just a remark, „Burn view“ is during the day a busy street and my room was pointing out to it, (and to the golf club and the hills behind it), some other rooms didn’t, but at night it is perfectly calm. I was out hiking during the day anyway.

The parking is a bit pricey, crooklets car park £4.60 for 2 hours, tried to book a table at Brandon arms,phoned on Tuesday day time,to book,said for 2 people,said 7 pm was booked,offered 4.45 pm or 8.45,didn't go tried again on Thursday day time same request,told no tables but only at 4.45 or 8.45,what a coincidence I thought,then it clicked,if I ordered a table for 4 or more I would have got a table at 7pm,in my book I call it ,owner being greedy and choosey,manager appeared arrogant and not friendly

Bude - what a beautiful place!

Bude - what a beautiful place! Great for surfers, beach-goers, walkers, shoppers and pasty lovers. Ideal for both families and couples. Lovely atmosphere at night, and some nice eating and drinking places. Tidal pools were a bonus and lovely for a relaxing swim. Just an hour away from Padstow, Boscastle, Tintagel and Hartland Abbey.

I loved staying here - what amazing staff - real care taken to support your stay. Amazing location - close to sea lake - beach - walks and town centre. I had a small double at the top of the hotel in late Feb in high winds and rain. My room was always cosy and warm. My bed was comfortable - I loved having a mini fridge that was actually quiet. Breakfast was great. Nothing was too much trouble. I saw the rooms with sea views and I’ll definitely go for one of these next time as the views are great.

This was the first time in Bude for us and the Hotel had fabulous views. Our room had an exceptional view of the beach including doors that opened onto a small balcony. The restaurant and bar facilities were very impressive for a smaller hotel and I can imagine how popular the terrace becomes during the warmer months. We would definitely stay again, preferable next summer. Lovely food too.

Caroline and Trevor are amazing hosts and have 5 unique -beautifully fitted rooms with all the comforts. The cream tea on arrival was a delicious surprise. The stunning location has everything you could want for a peaceful break in Cornwall. The bustle of Bude and the beaches are only a short drive away. It's our second trip there and definitely not our last!!!

The breakfast was very good and the serving staff very receptive. The room was great and the cleaning staff were exceptional. We had a couple of dinners in the Hotel and they were fine. Overall a great Hotel and we would definitely stay there again if in Bude.
