A beautiful historical building with all modern amenities. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, the spa was gorgeous and the hotel was within easy walking distance of the town centre. Breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff were all extremely pleasant.

The property was exactly as per the photos & exceptionally well renovated. The design features indicated a real focus on detail, like the electric toothbrush charger, the power points with built in phone charger access & the wonderfully thick & soft towels.

Fabulous cottage. Very comfortable and characterful, beautiful location, well-equipped and much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. There are lovely walks locally and the river Wye is just across the road. A pub a few minutes' walk away and it's just a few miles from Buxton. The supply of tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen was a nice touch.

Our lovely hosts provided us with a form on arrival which enabled us to pre-order our desired breakfast options. The serving sizes were very generous and all the food was sourced locally and home made. We had a lovely bowl of mixed fruit, plus a hot breakfast. There was also a bowl of fresh fruit in our room, and a small refridgerator with bottles of both still and sparkling water. The value for money was amazing.I would highly recommend staying at Kingscroft - you wont be disappointed.

Buxton is a lovely place to visit but to also use as a base to walk locally with several excellent walks from the centre of Buxton so you don’t have to take the car eg up to Solomon’s Temple. The Buxton Crescent experience is certainly worth doing too.

The town is ok though i was disapponted at lack of coffee shops. What i also like its so close to Derbyshire Peak district which I used to go caving and fell walking years ago. Noticed train journeys on your pamphalets. Need to try them out. Loads of other places to visit as well including Crich tram museam

Buxton is wonderful.

Buxton is wonderful. Quirky, iconic, a complete niche of a place in terms of locality and climate. Always pack a warm jumper. People are wonderful and friendly and there's a lot packed into a small space, amazing buildings, great park, within fantastic hills and walks. Lots of different places to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location in beautiful Buxton with shopping and restaurants just minutes away and ample parking close by. Impressive reception and lounge with porters on hand. We had a marvellous generously sized room with comfy chairs and table and a lovely comfortable mattress The shower is amazing and the bathroom has a large bath also. This is a spa hotel with 4 pools and all the spa treatments you could wish for. Breakfast is good with plenty of choices. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and helpful throughout. Will return at some point.

Tis was a lovely hotel and not what I expected for the money, it was lovely and clean and in a great location to get in to town by foot(less than 300M) The breakfast is served from 0800 but I had to leave before 0745 but they offered me a bacon sandwich to take with me, which I thought was very nice of them. If I am working in Buxton again I will definately stay again. Thank you
