The style of the room decoration was thoughtful. Outside view was outstanding. Everything was very clean and bright. Staff was very frendly. A suitable place to enjoy the silence. There are restaurants not far from the hotel. Brakefast was very good.

The apartment was newly renovated and furnished. It was very clean and lovingly decorated. In the kitchen, coffee and tea, milk and sugar, some drinks and some sweets were waiting for us. The beds were very comfortable, and we felt very comfortable overall. Pubs, shops, and the Springbank distilleries are within a 10-minute walk. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and helpful.

A quite location, with exceptionally beautiful surroundings. The Smiths are a very welcoming family and we were made to feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the sheep on the hills gave it that extra Scottish touch.

I’ve never stayed on a Farmhouse before, so this was a positive eye opener. The hosts were very accommodating and also had an interesting professional background which explained the quality of the accommodation and the exceptional home made food (breakfast was taken, but I’m sure dinner would have been 5 star had we opted for it) The wildlife around the property was a delight to see, the furnishings were what you’d expect in a top end hotel. There were also small home comforts such as plenty of tea and coffee, an honesty jar for wine, light ambient music in a comfortable lounge (to ourselves), and beautiful views across to the Paps of Jura. The option of helping with piggies would delight some visitors too (we understood this was a working farm and was explained very nicely). There was no TV due to poor signal reception in the area (there was WiFi) but this was actually a bonus as we were able to simply relax!! Most of all the food quality and comfort level makes this place exceptional value for money. It’s a hidden gem!

This is a bed and breakfast accommodation with very modern facilities. They upgraded us into the suite, which was incredibly comfortable and sparkling clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We also liked very much the breakfast they offer at their cafe, which is adjacent to the property.
