Perfect cosy hideout in central/western Skye. Great hiking spots and landmarks in decent driving distance. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need and more - there was even a fresh loaf of bread and some complimentary items in the fridge waiting for me! Barry and Debbie are lovely hosts and super responsive. This stay exceeded my expectations - would definitely come again!

The warm hosts make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and there are a lot of details in the B&B that make you feel special. The location is outside of the big tourist attractions which was for us a benefit. The breakfast is wonderful but what makes it at great experience is the option to eat in in the evening a la carte! They can make you unbelievable dishes (a star rating level). And they have a good car charger (32A/21 kW AC).

Staying in the Croft House was a wonderful experience. The view over to Dunvegan Head was stunning. Great facilities for cooking too. Electric heating system kept the home warm. There was also a wood fire. Washing machine was great as we had been travelling for over a week. We used the clothes horse for drying the clothes. We were two couples so having two bathrooms was good. Both bedrooms are upstairs. With one bathroom, with a shower over the bath, upstairs and the other bathroom, with a shower, down stairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Walked along the road for great views and down to the local harbour and to see the sheep and cows that wander the local area.

It´s way in the coutryside, small single trail road with few houses only. However, great restaurants near by (the three chimmneys and Chidakasha Skye) , wonderfully located for great walks, a short drive to the Neist Lighthouse, the valley of Glendale, close to Dunvegan Castle.

Lovely scenic cottage.

Lovely scenic cottage. The key locker was a bit hard to manage but host was responsive immediately and got it sorted out. Winter pot holes in the roads but they were working on them. (I was there in April). Fantastic kitchen. Beds are on upper floor. Bathroom could use a fan or vent of some sort.

The place is amazing, we couldn't give any less than the maximum 10 stars! The hosts, Ian and Jacqueline are wonderful people and we really hope to meet them again. The breakfast was just excellent, like a 5 star hotel! The place is so cozy and well equipped we felt at home right away. Could not recommend this place more - it is a true gem!

Idyllic location. Views from Birdsong Bothy were exceptional. Very nice layout. Modern conveniences. Comfortable seating for relaxing and taking in views. Nice, well equipped kitchen. Great bathroom and shower. Efficient layout makes the most of this cozy space. Loved returning here at the end of a day exploring on Skye.

The hosts are fabulous! The suggestions for sightseeing were just what we needed. The dinner suggested was a unique and special experience at the Chidakasha Skye Vegetarian restaurant. The room was our haven at night with an absolute killer view of the loch.
