The bedroom was beautiful. Warm and cozy. Large. Comfortable bed. Windows opened easily for fresh air. Tea and coffee and cookie service replenished daily. Kira was an exceptional and personable hostess. Breakfast cooked to order. Snacks and fruit available 24/7. Refrigerator for guests in breakfast room. Within walking distance of town center.

The Highlander Inn was just what I needed and by the number of other guests it is a very popular place. It delivers, all that one could wish for. Hospitality, friendliness, good service, food was superb, staff could not have been more helpful. Would recommend to all of my close friends, have already done so now that I am back home.

This hotel is very expensive and a rip off, working in the...

This hotel is very expensive and a rip off, working in the area every month and had no option to use it one night for a stay, caters for the tourists and rips them off, go 10 mins in any direction and get better service and room for half the cost. If you are a tourist more expensive does not mean better, especially at this hotel.

Craigallachie itself is very small.

Craigallachie itself is very small. If you are out and about in the car it is perfect for you. The Highlander Inn was a great place to eat. Aberlour just 2 miles away was in walking distance and the walk along the river was nice. You had to walk along the main road to get to the path though. The cottage is just off the main road but it is quite peaceful. You don`t hear the traffic inside really. Unfortunately we didn`t get to many tourist places as they were still closed.

A really great place to enjoy the area. Craigellachie Lodge is a highly-rated, luxurious guesthouse in Speyside, Scotland's whisky region. Fabulous hotel. Food was really good and loved the quaich bar. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything was spotless. And all the staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be back.
