What’s not to like? I honestly could not find a single fault with our stay here and for that, I commend you all.. Alicia on reception was cheery, informative and welcoming on our arrival. The rooms are spotless and beds were super comfortable. The staff were cheery and pleasant. The food in the bar was delish…(shout out to the chef 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) and breakfast was also superb. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Paul and Helen are fantastic hosts. The house is beautifully decorated, all is delicate and charming. Our room was stunning with a great bathroom. Paul knows how to treat a guest, we feel very welcoming. we could also have a dinner a few minutes walk in a nice pub with good food. We enjoyed very much the delicious breakfast, homemade products. The house and the room are spotless, extremely clean. If you go to Crieff, Merlindale is a must. We will definitely come back. We had a wonderful stay.

It feels very secluded and private but is not far from town. Loved sitting in the conservatory in the late afternoon sun. We stayed as a couple and found the property very spacious. Everything we could have wanted was there.

Log burner was just perfect at Christmas. Cottage was cosy and welcoming. Kitchen well equipped. We appreciated the seasonal and tasteful decorations- it felt like Christmas. The underfloor heating in the upstairs bathroom was great. Comfortable beds. Games to play and books to read. Much thought has gone into the cottage.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location equipped with everything we needed- we could’ve stayed longer! Comfy beds and clean and spacious living areas. Log burner was an added bonus. Excellent communication from the owner when we needed to get in touch.

    Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to...

    Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to surrounding places of interest. Definitely need a car to travel. The high street pavements are really in need of repairs so we had to be vigilant when walking through town. Not great for people with walking disabilities. Very hilly too.The Ghurcah Indian restaurant was excellent ,,value for money with huge portions that we had to take with us. Quality was amazing.

    Fabulous walks along the river Earn, abundant wildlife, including a kingfisher! The town parks are pretty and there are good views of the surrounding hills/mountains. An amazing icecream parlour with 46 flavours to choose from is not to be missed. We had great meal at the Gurkhas restaurant, but it was pre-booked, and we have found it generally very difficult to find restaurant food after 8pm. There are several interesting places to visit nearby, but regrettably Crieff itself has a slightly dingy appearance, rather tired looking with several closing or closed already shops.

    The Hotel and room were both excellent. The food was delicious. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. Scenery was breathtaking Good value for money. The weather was terrific which was an added bonus

    this is not a property issue but we warned if you park in...

    this is not a property issue but we warned if you park in the town centre be wary, the sign on the notice board states free parking for 3 hours but when I returned after an hour I had a parking ticket for £100. I have never came across this before but even though it is free parking you still have to display a ticket

    Plenty of varied shops to visit. Friendly people. Quite near lots of touristy places. We loved Gurkas the portions are huge. But only one standard kebab/pizza/burger place. Lots of choice in Crieff Co, Deli. Petrol reasonable. Lovely park and riverside walk. It can be a bit hilly in places. Pay to park on the high street.

    Creiff itself is a country town , a little old fashioned, but with the usual shops , everything you need for day to day. Several resonablt priced places to eat, very good fresh produce shop and ice cream/ sweetie shop. Best bits are outside the town, visitors centre, Caithness glass factory where you can view the workers producing the beautiful products, Stuart crystal, and the gorgeous Nutcracker Christmas shop, which is worth the trip on its own.Many other places worth a visit within half an hour. Wildlife Park, Stirling Castle, Bannockburn, Doune castle and Dunblane Cathedral.

    The communication prior to arrival. The apartment is super super comfy in every aspect. Plenty of guidance for things to do locally, and further afield. Very flexible and delightful hosts. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Crieff and surrounding areas.
