The location is unbeatable. A remote corner of the highlands that feels so special. The hotel faces the loch/sea (as did our room, with a balcony!) and it was picture-perfect to sit out on the terrace and have a drink, and then to walk down to the shore, and mingle with the hairy coos and goats hanging out. The room itself was also lovely, spacious and well-equipped. The food for both dinner and breakfast was delicious and thoughtful. The staff were lovely. All in all, a terrific value and a truly special place. I will come back!

very nice clean and well tidy food good if you like a lot of fish, they also make a great soup. And I take my hat off to the chef Mikel for his black garlic truffle and butter with homemade bread, and last but not least the staff very well mannered and special thanks to the wonderful lady who brought our breakfast each morning.

Wonderfully furnished and was tastes decorated. The HILLROOM is highly appealing, the bathroom too. It was a very warm welcome. It couldn’t have been better. We really felt at home. The best place to stay, with a terrific view to the sea side. This place and the caring owner is worth, even a long detour.

Dude, this place was seriously one of the best stays ever! The place is amazing, and even getting there is like, you're going to heaven. The cabin by the sea is huge and has everything. I'd go back just for the cabin and the views. Plus, there's a super cozy bar, and the live music is the best part.

All Was perfect. Roger is very helpful. I have booked the Mull room and ils view is stunning ( view on sea ). The room is very well furnished, the shower very modern. Romantic room. The breakfast Was incredible ( various menus scottish ) .

Ellanbeich is a beautiful wee village with a fascinating...

Ellanbeich is a beautiful wee village with a fascinating history. There is an excellent pub (the oyster bar) with one of the best views from the terrace in Scotland. We took the ferry to Easdale for the afternoon and walked around the island in glorious sunshine. There are also boat trips from the harbour with Seafari adventures and we took an early morning boat tour on a comfortable rib to see the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool and were treated to the sight of playful otters and porpoises too. Highly recommended and we would love to come back.
