The place was really cosey and quiet, and it felt like we were surrounded by nature. The lodge is very well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen had everything, even some oil and milk. They left lots out like tea, coffee, juice, etc. Its designed well with a lovely finish, and there's a nice little patio and garden. The owners have clearly thought of everything and tried very hard to make it a really nice stay! You'll be happy to stay at Tawny Lodge!

The location of the house is excellent—very close to the center. It’s just a five-minute walk to the Lidl supermarket. The living and dining areas are spacious .The bedroom is clean, comfortable, and appears to be newly renovated. It’s perfect for short-term stays for work purposes.

Everything at this stunning shepherds hut was perfect! Alec and Catriona were fantastic hosts and nothing too much trouble. The hut is beautiful and is so well equipped. All you need is there and the surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. I had a wonderful stay here and am planning my return soon. It's the perfect relaxing escape!

An ideal base for exploring the area. Jackie is very friendly, helpful and flexible - a very experienced host. I slept soundly in a comfortable bed and enjoyed quiet, restful nights. There is also a large field opposite the house which my dog thoroughly enjoyed.

Evesham is a market town and it's quite noticeable which is the oldest part of the town with Abbey ruins and the Almonry and the beautiful area called Hampton Ferry along Boat Lane. Lovely riverside gardens at Abbey Gardens. Furthest end of the High Street, Bridge Street (walk over the bridge to views of River Avon) etc is where you'll find the majority of shops. But I feel some other parts of the town are quite poor and could do with a facelift. Monica's Fish Bar and Restaurant - this was wonderful, a clean restaurant and such generous portions. The OAP meal for £9 (May 2024) was an absolute bargain with a pretty large portion of fish!! And lovely polite staff. Pop into The Almonry Museum for the Tourist Information Office and pick up a few little souvenirs, tea towels, picture postcards (wont get them anywhere else in the town), pens, pencils, mugs, books about the locality etc. Very helpful ladies! And the no.28 bus goes to Bidford Upon Avon and Stratford Upon Avon - both beautiful places for a day out.

Sadly the breakfast let the experience down as the quality of the ingredients were not good. The decor overall in the hotel was rather mismatched and it feels like the the update was not as successful as the owner would have liked due to a misalignment in themes and cheap furniture.
