Wonderful, warm, and cozy hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and made my birthday memorable. We stayed to visit Blenheim and celebrate my birthday. The property is only a short walk away from the palace. The hotel has a wonderful bar and the food at The Aviary was fabulous.

The accomodation and the bathroom were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's also a nice touch to be able to leave your bags there before check-in or after check-out. The localization is near the Ashmolean Museum, and most of the places you can get by walking.

Eynsham is a very pleasant village.

Eynsham is a very pleasant village. Wonderful independent wine store with exceptional range and real expertise. Good cafes and a few nice independent shops and pubs. Very handy for Oxford and good walking nearby.

Very attractive pub with lovely, quiet, comfortable rooms.

Very attractive pub with lovely, quiet, comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful - always smiling. Breakfast was excellent. I also ate dinner in the hotel which was obviously popular with locals and had a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight at the Talbot Inn when going to the Nocturne series at Blenheim Palace. We had lunch and breakfast and both were cooked/presented beautifully. The hosts and staff were very welcoming, and helped us book a local taxi over to Blenheim. The room looked as if it had just been renovated; everything was well designed and laid out, and clean. It is located right by the river, on the outskirts of Eynsham village. We heard a cuckoo calling us on a walk by the river before we left!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the quiet town of Eynsham and is right by a bus stop that takes you into Oxford. Buses run regularly. The room was very comfortable with tea making facilities and bottled water. We had an excellent breakfast that was good value.

Staff very friendly, nice family run hotel. The chef was off but they offered to make us an English breakfast anyway as it had been something we'd been looking forward to, and it was very tasty! The rooms were very clean and beds large & very comfortable. Thank you!

The Location right in the centre of Eynsham Village. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a cozy, if not old-fashioned lounge that guests could use. We didn't use them, but there were convenient bus stops near by to central Oxford and a couple of other local Towns.

Really terrific place. We were two adults and one child. Plenty of space, everything you can need, comfortable and modern fittings. Very close to bus stop to Oxford and Witney and close to all the amenities in eynsham. Highly recommend.
