Falmouth has a bit of everything - stylish independent shops, Trago, great variety of eateries and bars, views, boats, beaches, and interesting alleyways. I just wish the high street was pedestrianised!

Interesting independant shops, great places to eat )vegetarian and vegan(, lovely beach and close distance to other interesting seaside towns. We enjoyed the live music venues and the young buzz of the town against the background of historical interest. The maritime museum, the castle and great places for children to run around .... if we had any with us!! A late night Tesco express was also very convenient!

The bus service is good - so well worth using it as parking in Cornwall tourist spots is difficult. The ferry rides to surrounding areas are well worth taking. It's a student town and so quite lively but everyone we met was extremely polite and friendly. Town kept very clean by CCC.

Due to one of our group having recently broken her foot and arm we were very restricted but enjoyed candle painting with Kia at Outerspace where i was able to drop her outside. A very enjoyable relaxing activity. Found a lovely carpark at St Dennis with amazing views to sit in the car eating our pasties while the weather gave us its usual cornish 4 seasons within 1 hour .

Falmouth is a lovely Cornish town, filled with independent shops and eateries that make browsing and chilling out a treat. The river, the Marina and Maritime Museum add to the ambience and it has the added bonus of a regular ferry over to St Mawes. The Pendennis Headland, with it's wood lined paths that give glimpses of the sea, is worth having a walk out for to see the star fort and small castle. From here you can access short walks through very mature woodland with gorgeous old trees throughout the headland. Worth a visit.

excellent bus service, easy to get around without a car. Great area for coastal walking, lovely walk from Gyllingvase beach to Swanpool. A fun way to travel get the ferry to St Mawes or cross the river at Helford Passage. Gweek seal sanctuary is also an interesting visit.

St Michael's is probably the best hotel in the Falmouth area or at least close to it. There is a very nice bar, a brasserie and casual dining. Along with the health club, spa and near beachfront location it represents an excellent offering. Our room was spacious enough and comfortable.

Lovely bed and bedroom. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast Highly recommended. Good location in Falmouth as handy and close to both town and beach, and easy to travel away from Falmouth in all directions from the hotel.

Everything A beautiful hotel, a little bit dated, but good value and a few minutes walk from the centre of Falmouth. The beautiful lady on reception was so helpful and made me feel like a shaking jelly.
