Falmouth has a bit of everything - stylish independent shops, Trago, great variety of eateries and bars, views, boats, beaches, and interesting alleyways. I just wish the high street was pedestrianised!

Interesting independant shops, great places to eat )vegetarian and vegan(, lovely beach and close distance to other interesting seaside towns. We enjoyed the live music venues and the young buzz of the town against the background of historical interest. The maritime museum, the castle and great places for children to run around .... if we had any with us!! A late night Tesco express was also very convenient!

The bus service is good - so well worth using it as parking in Cornwall tourist spots is difficult. The ferry rides to surrounding areas are well worth taking. It's a student town and so quite lively but everyone we met was extremely polite and friendly. Town kept very clean by CCC.

Due to one of our group having recently broken her foot and arm we were very restricted but enjoyed candle painting with Kia at Outerspace where i was able to drop her outside. A very enjoyable relaxing activity. Found a lovely carpark at St Dennis with amazing views to sit in the car eating our pasties while the weather gave us its usual cornish 4 seasons within 1 hour .

Falmouth is a lovely Cornish town, filled with independent shops and eateries that make browsing and chilling out a treat. The river, the Marina and Maritime Museum add to the ambience and it has the added bonus of a regular ferry over to St Mawes. The Pendennis Headland, with it's wood lined paths that give glimpses of the sea, is worth having a walk out for to see the star fort and small castle. From here you can access short walks through very mature woodland with gorgeous old trees throughout the headland. Worth a visit.

I booked a room for one night for my partners birthday, walked into the room not only did we have a nice room but a bottle of Prosecco was left in the room for us, which was a lovely surprise . The lounge areas are very nice also the outside area very nice too we enjoyed a glass of wine and some lunch, sitting in the wonderful sunshine. Thank you Falmouth hotel for a wonderful stay.

We were very happy to visit Falmouth for the university open day. The hotel generally felt clean. The pool and gym area was clean and quiet. The breakfast staff were really helpful and cheery.
