Fantastic value for money, friendly people, large room with fridge (room 22), delicious food on site and breakfast items provided. Even service room very next day which was lovely and replaced breakfast items. Two very comfortable beds. Stay here much better than Star Inn in Lingfeild for the same price!

Brilliant sized room for a family of 6, lovely to be able to make use of the brilliant bathtub too. Great pressure on the water and super clean. Breakfast was excellent with a range on offer for every kid and diet. They even helped us with a taxi that was much cheaper than the airport! would defo recommend and stay again.

Staff at the Cornerhouse is amazing, every single one of them making you feel like you returned home instead of just checking into some hotel. Thank you to the lovely ladies in the kitchen for keeping me well fed with a delicious full english every morning and of course Kevin, THE barkeep - this charming gentleman can pour a mean Guinness and let you know you're among friends from the get-go. I found my go-to hotel when visiting the area for sure. See you again real soon, Cornerhouse!

Beautiful location and also dog friendly I believe. Like the chill out music on the terrace and thr food is fabulous too. Great views over the lake and would recommend..to anyone and have already done this with 2 sets of friends x

The narrow lane access was full of deep potholes.

The narrow lane access was full of deep potholes. There were no signs stating that there was convenient access to rooms from the car park level with suggestions possibly to register first up the flight of stairs (internally there are three flights of steep stairs down to the rooms. Signage would have been helpful). There is nothing near the hotel but water and woods so a car trip down the narrow lane is necessary even for a newspaper. The boutique hotel room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were essential items missing, such as no waste bin in the bedroom, no shelf for toiletries/toothbrush in the bathroom and no grab rail for elderly occupants; in fact the situation was not good for anyone with vertigo or mobility issues. We received family guests for dinner, one meal was unfortunately overcooked so much so that the basic fish and chips meal was refunded. This reflected badly on us as hosts and will not recommend it to others for such a visit.

Requested some heating none available Heating not working Would not recommend this to anyone Couldn’t stay too cold very let down The advertisement is not correct It’s not a boutique hotel Very very bad experience

Everything a nice clean hotel room tea making facility also water bottles and a breakfast option all around very good but the best for last is the curry one of the best curries I’ve ever had and the staff a amazing !! Thanks to all who work at the Woodcock inn especially Sami 👍🏻👍🏻

Lovely staff, modern and clean rooms with nice decor, great ambience. About 15 - 20 minutes drive to Gatwick. I had lost my coat and the hotel was able to recover and keep it for me until I could retrieve it a few days later - so kind.
