Fishguard is a great little coastal town with a good mix of independent shops, bars and restaurants as well as a decent sized supermarket. The harbour at Lower Town is lovely. Beautiful beaches, rugged coastlines and stunning scenery are all within easy reach.

An interesting town across the bay from the property with reasonably priced car parking and within fairly easy walking distance. An interesting cinema/theatre and a good range of shops and eating places. An interesting history of events. St. David’s and Tenby were interesting places within an hour’s drive.

We liked the path along the coast, we just had a bit of a problem figuring out a hike for the kids, i.e. 6-10 km. We used a bus from Dinas Cross once to get back from the trip (beware, it doesn't run on Sundays). Apparently seals are sometimes seen on the cliffs behind Harbour Village...

Fishguard has world-beating coastal walks and views; ideal for droning. It is a quiet, small town, brimming with cultural assets, e.g. the Last Invasion Tapestry, Folk at the Oak every Tuesday, Goodwick Harbour, Lower Town (used for at least two films), Theatr Gwawn and varied eating options. Everything is within walking distance. It's also close to interesting places to visit, such as St David's, with its cathedral.

It's a great base location for exploring the area.

It's a great base location for exploring the area. There's plenty of nice coastal walks that are only a short drive away. The town itself is quite small but still has plenty to offer. There's history with the fort and last invasion gallery, the lower town is very cute and you're spoiled for choice with food and drink - lots of very good quality cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Very friendly, helpful hosts. My room was clean and comfortable with a well stocked hospitality tray. The cooked breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice of cereals and fresh fruit and fresh coffee too. I loved the setting of the hotel. It was very close to lots of beautiful walks and a lovely nature reserve. I enjoyed my short stay at the Ivybridge and would definitely stay again if in the area.

House is in a great location in the lower old part of fishguard in the harbour. The house was nice and clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, and the hot tub was an added bonus. There's parking right outside the house, and the town and local pubs are a 10 min walk up the steep hill. I would deffinatley return.

A beautiful comfortable cosy cottage in a quiet location but still only a five minute walk uphill to the nearest pub restaurant. Hosts were kind, helpful and left milk and snacks for us as we arrived late. A great spot for covering the Coastal path with the bus station in Fishguard being a short walk away

Steve is a very welcoming host and knowledgable about the local area. Self service breakfast with supply of fresh fruit, bread and eggs. The hostel is very comfortable and a perfect location in the heart of Fishguard. Close to the coastpath and bus links to explore further afield.
