The room was exceptional (very large, beautifully furnished and warm) and it had the best view of my trip. Service was lovely, as was the food. I loved the coal fire in the lounge. For a walker the bath was most welcome allowing me to ease aching joints

An exceptionally great range on offer for breakfast, probably the best ive experienced in any hotel anywhere in the world, and with a combination of Scottish traditional and healthy foods. Dinner was likewise extremely good; no need to consider eating out. Staff were very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. The “Whisky Snug” room for tastings is almost unbelievable, with 600 whiskys on offer!

Fantastic place. we stayed with our 2y old, large playground around the corner was definitely an asset. great food in the restaurant and friendly staff. exceptional breakfast! Grantown was a good base to explore the area (much nicer than Aviemore)
