The host had thought of everything from a welcome card and cakes to slipping and even dog treats and bowls and toys just in case u forgot. Milk at the ready and tea and coffee for those who traveled far and a cute book on the village as it’s full of history. Big table indoor and out so you can all sit together. It’s called the old smithy and even had an anvil in the garden which I wish I had a photo but my trip was cut short due to illness. I have the hosts number and felt I could call if needed. Parking for two car at side of cottage and on road if needed for free no payment meters like in Blackpool. Lovely walks and a pub just at bottom of the road if needed.
