The hotel lives up to it's name as Royal, it is a beautiful hotel and the staff is very friendly. The lobby and staircase to the rooms is very impressive. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The bath was very nice especially the bath tub. We had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a few drinks in the pub. We did not anticipate using the very large pool and spa and were sorry we didn't, but we looked them over and they looked great. The location is great being easy walking distance to the castle and city center. We would definitely stay here again.

The setting is so authentically historical. Many places to eat, gather , and imbibe. We LOVED THE STAFF. Wow, they all were so professional and couldn’t do enough for us. Especially Delwin, Jude , and Eryl. They are such hard workers.

We were warmly welcomed by Janet who was very kind and attentive. She showed us everything in the property and advised an easy and fast way to see the beautiful scenery. Our room was lovely, clean and warm. There was a kettle, mugs and glasses, tea and coffee in the room to enjoy the morning. Nice kitchen in the property to cook something for the family. Really convenient!

We love everything about the place. As you’re reaching the area, you’ll be welcomed by the breathtaking scenic view of the mountains, which makes you wonder if dragons once lived here.  The room is well equipped with a good selection of tea bags, chocolates, and coffees. It’s clean, has good lighting, and is well ventilated. The mattress is comfortable to sleep on.  This is a special place for us both because I proposed to my fiancé by the lakeside on the property. The staff are amazing as they are thoughtful and tentative to our needs, and they have been supportive and helped me with the details before the proposal. I am overjoyed when we are engaged and the staff make us feel like a part of the family who celebrates our love together. We are already thinking of returning to the place in the future.

This chalet is beautiful and impeccably kept. Everything was spotless and like new. The decor is elegant and creates a lovely atmosphere without being fussy or requiring much upkeep while staying. The chalet feels very spacious and has everything we needed. There are lovely thoughtful details that made us feel very much at home: comfortable beds, fluffy towels, stack of books and DVDs, and very generous welcome basket, considering we were only there 2 days. The campsite is beautifully laid out and maintained. It feels very luxurious. We didn't use the pool or bar/restaurant due to weather and other plans.

The apartment was equipped with a wide range of breakfast options, including tea and coffee, variety pack cereals, granola and muesli, sliced bread and jams. The location was to die for! The property is along a farm track with sweeping views from the window across the fields to the Menai Strait and Anglesey. Every evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset across the sea. There were splendid country walks all around and access to Caernarfon and other popular tourist destinations.

The location is amazing, right inside the old town walls, a 30 meter walk from your front door to an arched entrance that looks out on the ocean. The house was warm and clean and we stayed here during some very rough weather, but were very cozy. With three levels accessed by a small stairway it is just the sort of charming property we hoped it would be. The top floor main bedroom was spacious, has its own large bathroom and the best shower of our trip. It had a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The lounge was a relaxing space with mood lighting and a smart TV. The hosts communication was good and they left plentiful supplies for breakfast. The property is next to an arch you can’t drive through and the street has no long term parking but you can park out front to unload before finding overnight options , the hosts gave us advice for this. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back for longer next time.

Amazing!

Amazing! We stayed for 3 nights over Feb half term with our children and parents. It was incredible, and definitely one for the memories. We visited Caernarfon Castle, and Greenwood Park- the park being the highlight of our stay for our girls!

The cottage was an ideal base for us to explore the area.

The cottage was an ideal base for us to explore the area. Really close to Caernarfon with the amazing castle as well as lots of lovely little shops and not too far from lots of other local attractions - we made the short drive over to Anglesey to the sea zoo and could have explored a lot more from this base. The hosts were really helpful without being intrusive. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had all of the basic amenities. We would definitely consider staying again.

A real home from home for us!

A real home from home for us! Super facilities and made to accommodate families with children! The walk in shower was particularly handy when wrangling 2 grubby children ready for bed! Great garden space with an abundance of wendy houses, swings, slides and ride on carts, cars and tractors.. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, and if you end up getting in late and night with no provisions like we did, there's Just Eat delivery available and a great fish and chip shop a few miles out!

It was a beautiful setting in the country.

It was a beautiful setting in the country. It's about 4 miles to Caernarfon where you will find plenty of places to eat and shop. The property could do with a little sprucing up but otherwise was lovely.
