1 minute walk from the Rail Station. 3 minute walk from the Theatre. It was perfect. One of the best pubs/hotel I have stayed in. Reception young man Jacob was excellent with his introductions. Single comfortable room, soft bed, spotless, including the shower room. And my Room 9, so quiet considering it's on a main road.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this accommodation. The hosts were incredibly friendly and professional, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. Their attentiveness and welcoming nature made us feel right at home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dining options were a highlight. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty choices to suit every palate, and the availability of lunch and dinner was a fantastic convenience. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, making dining at the accommodation a treat. The room was spotlessly clean and cozy, with comfortable beds that ensured a restful night’s sleep. However, being located near an intersection, there was some noise from passing cars, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Despite this, the overall comfort and charm of the room made it a lovely space to relax. The bathroom was well-maintained, complete with hot water and quality toiletries, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. This accommodation is an excellent choice for those seeking great service, delicious meals, and a clean, cozy environment, with just a touch of urban vibrancy from the surrounding area.

I hope this review will help people to make a judgement on choosing to stay here as if you have any genuine problems with this property like we faced the owners will not provide a refund. The room was not as advertised, me and my friend had booked well in advanced for a concert as we were aware rooms would be snapped up quickly. Without telling us however or making any effort to contact us, the room was changed from a twin to a double. We arrived very late and it was impossible to find a safe/cheap solution that night so this resulted in me staying on the floor. I agreed with the owners to stay on the floor and made it clear we would at least like a refund for the second night as I was not willing to stay on the floor another night. There has been an outright refusal from the owners to acknowledge the above and booking.com unfortunately have initially not been very understanding but- I am aware this is now being looked into by the internal team with my evidence of the discrepancy in the rooms.I am hopeful we will still get money back - I will personally be cautious now with any private owners via booking.com as they appear to have no interest in a quick solution. If there any other reasons not to stay: I would also avoid here if you have any respiratory conditions such as asthma as there was a very strong smell of incense which made my friends breathing difficult. The street was incredibly noisy so also found it difficult to sleep for this. The bathroom is not very pleasant either and its shared with long term guests. There was a teenager living there who did not reveal their involvement with the property but was staying there in the downstairs living room- I noticed they were on booking.com when I went to speak to him so I assume he had some involvement with the admin, but they refused to take any responsibility for the room.

Nothing was working on the property dirty shower i have picture when I spoke to customer service assistant they said I am going to talk to cleaner and then I’ll call you back and he didn’t. with no water pressure in shower when we travel we need basic things like working socket for charging gadgets I try to put my phone on charging there was 4 switches socket they are all not working fridge and kettle also was not working and i find tea coffee and sugar jar but they are also empty When I spoke to again customer service assistant and request them to change my room they said we don’t have room in this property and they gives me option to another property and they said you have to travel 17 miles when I check with navigation it’s takes 1 hours 45 minutes with cab It was horrible experience in my life Waste of money and time I recommend don’t waste your money and time To book this property
