The staff were really nice and friendly and provided a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable with added blankets on the bed to get truly cosy. We paid for the breakfast which was made with care out of quality ingredients. Plenty of parking was available too. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Plan to visit again when coming back to see Longleat.

Excellent location, farmhouse in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by trees and bushes while close to major sights. Debbie was a wonderful host. Lavish breakfasts. Bathroom is a few meters away across the corridor, not en-suite, but you have basically the whole floor for yourselves and we felt perfect privacy all the time. It way like a stay in 2nd home to us. Dreamy is the one word that comes to mind. The whole property is quaint and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. From the rooms to the location. We loved everything. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated. Coming from a different country we did have some trouble with internet service but I think It has to do with our roaming service. We can't wait to return.

The property has a nice private location on the first floor with an outside staircase for access. It is attached to the hosts’ home. All our needs were covered and a welcome pack of milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, fruit and croissants with butter and jam for breakfast was lovely and greatly appreciated. Steve and Michelle are very friendly and welcoming.

The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

Everything was very tastefully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the location was wonderful. David and the team were absolutely amazing. If we will come back in the area we’ll definitely book again :)

A lovely old pub.

A lovely old pub. Very comfortable accommodation perfect for a good night's sleep, and lovely think towels and good shower. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices and lots of fresh fruit etc available. Evening meal good too. A delightful village and lots of nearby places to explore.

Friendly landlord offered me coffee upon arrival after long solo drive. The room had fresh coffee and cafetière. Bath most welcome to unwind and soothe aches after 3 hour drive. The purpose of the visit was to attend a wedding in a nearby village.

We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the...

We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the neighborhood we were in was very lovely. We walked around a bit after we checked in, before we sat down for dinner. We didn't have a chance to go into any shops as it was late when we arrived but we very much enjoyed our stroll around the area.

A really lovely coaching inn, conveniently about 10 mins off the A303 and yet, once in Hindon, you would have no idea that the A303 was so close. The Lamb Inn is beautifully decorated - so cosy and yet more than that - a really good restaurant and inn. The rooms are excellent and the supper we had was so good. The staff are exceptional

The Lamb is a very welcoming pub with great food. The room I stayed in (7) overlooked Hindon High Street and had a large comfortable king size bed and traditional furniture. Lovely to have a full size bath with natural products from Bramley. The staff are great and very friendly and it all has a very homely feel about it.

The food was excellent does what it says on the tin country pub with rooms good atmosphere. You do have to be aware apart from being a pretty village there isn't much in Hindon but A303 is closed by for travelling around the area
