The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

The whole package at the Corrie house was exceptional, the surroundings and the view a re some fo the best you will see, The facilities and the rooms are excellent. Roger and Sally are wonderful hosts and the food was delicious . Sitting on the desk looking at the view with a beer will be one of the main highlights of our trip.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at Melfort village. The accommodation was very well equipped and they even offer extra equipment such as slow cookers. It's quiet and in a beautiful location. They called us the week before to make sure we brought everything we needed with us as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away in Oban. We also booked massages for our last day - highly recommended! I would recommend Melfort Village for a quiet, secluded, self catering break.
