The room was comfortable and the bed was great.
The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar area was great but small and crowded (we picked a busy time) The big disappointment was the food - Sunday evening meal was bad, very dried out mash, rock hard roast potatoes and a completely inedible Yorkshire pudding (obviously the last meal of the Sunday lunches). Nothing to like.
Nothing to like. Toilets dirty, room not that clean, food menu for evening meal poor and we were very ill after eating it. Charged £26.50 for breakfast when only had toast due to being ill all night. Quite a quirky building with lots of old beams and features, lovely sized room and bathroom. Comfortable beds and not too loud given that you are right over a pub. All the staff were lovely and really approachable and the food was amazing if a little on the large portioned side.
