Our pod was so cute, warm & welcoming for our w.e break! It had everything we needed & the beds & bedding were so snug! We also had our own immaculate bathroom a short stroll away. The site and utilities are very well organised. Tim, the owner was very friendly and hospitable. Lynda, the campsite manager was equally lovely. It's very easy to walk into town from the cottage, for all the restaurants, cafes and wonderful shopping. The accommodation was clean and quaint and was easy to find on the GPS. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The parking space was a bonus. And we also parked the other car in the cemetry for free. We would stay here again.

It was a very central location, with a parking space which is a major advantage for Lewes. The apartment was clean and very well appointed with quirky and effective decor. The complimentary food items were fresh and good quality and very welcome. It's light and airy, the bathtub was a lovely touch.

Sara is a lovely host, and popped by to check we were getting on ok. Beds are comfortable, living area spacious, and kitchen very well equipped with staples like coffee, tea, milk, condiments, etc which was very kind. Location is terrific yet very quiet at night. Everything room being on one floor made things so much easier.

The breakfast was wonderful, plentiful, and lots of choice in a lovely sunroom. The hotel is set in a grand, picturesque location surrounded by fields within which is a lake, Beds are very comfortable with French doors opening onto a patio, looking across the fields. An 14th century church is in walking distance, and pleasant walks in the nearby wooded areas. Lovely part of the world, real England.

The owners couldn't do too much for us. My partner has MS and I've recently injured a knee and so we'd been struggling a bit and had been running late for our Glyndebourne visit. We couldn't find a taxi and to have phoned the owners looking for advice as to a reliable taxi company and be offered a lift straight to Glyndebourne was both unexpected and delightful...and, to be honest, without that help we would likely not have made it at all. Many thanks. You made my birthday what it was... A wonderful experience.
